David was absolutely brilliant and did such an amazing job. Can't believe my floor had so many colours in it all along! Wish I'd discovered David 4 years ago when we first put the floor down. Thank you David!

'Very professional work carried out to a high standard. David was courteous and knowledgable throughout the procedure. Our tired stained tiles now have a new lease of life'.

TRAVERTINE POLISHING

Both the above Travertine floors, one in Chelmsford the other in Bury St Edmunds, have been diamond polished using the 4 stage diamond pad system in conjunction with a burnishing machine.
Each pad is diamond encrusted with varying degrees of coarseness.
Starting with the most coarse pad which will remove any previous seals and ingrained dirt, the floor is lubricated with a little water and
then machine scrubbed. This is followed by the medium, fine and ultra fine pads which are much finer grits and restore the polished finished of the natural stone.
Once the polished travertine and grout lines are fully dry, a colour enhancing, impregnating sealer can be applied. This sealer is absorbed into the stone and protects against any spillages.
'David of Crown Cleaning was very professional throughout, careful to gauge our requirements exactly.
He completed an excellent job in restoring our terracotta tiles and nothing seemed to be too much trouble.
We would happily recommend his services to friends and family'.

The above slate flooring in a beautiful kitchen in Thaxted, although regularly maintained by the homeowner, was proving difficult to keep clean and the grout lines had become discoloured.
The slate was pre-treated to break down dirt and greases and then machine scrubbed using a rotary machine and a black abrasive pad. This was followed pressure washing the tile and grout using a spinner tool attached to the truckmount which blasts any remaining dirt out of the grout lines and vacuums the water and slurry back into the waste tank in the van.
After leaving the floor to dry completely, 4 coats of topical seal was applied to protect the stone and grout and enhance its beautiful colour.
Our tired/dirty York stone floor totally revived. David is a really nice guy who delivers a truly professional job

BRICK CLEANING
The above brick flooring in Pentlow, Suffolk, responded really well to cleaning. Once dried the floor was treated with 2 coats of colour enhancing impregnator to protect it from absorbing any further spillages and staining.

'From the first telephone conversation to the consultation to the actual job in hand, the entire service was carried out with excellence and David was a pleasure to speak with. The results of our Travertine floor are better than we could have ever hoped for which has transformed our home.
We are very happy indeed and would recommend David to anyone'.
The attractive green riven slate flooring in a property in Tolleshunt Knights, Tiptree, had, over time lost its finish and despite being very regularly cleaned was in need of a through deep clean and resealing.
After pre treating with specialised chemicals the floor was scrubbed using a rotary machine.
The resulting slurry was removed and the slate and grout lines were then cleaned using
a spinning tool. The spinning tool, which creates no overspill, blasts the tile with water jets at 1200 psi, cleaning the uneven surface and grout and simultaneously vacuums this slurry into a waste tank in my van.
Once completely dry the tiles were sealed with 4 coats of topical sealer creating a shiny, tough and hard wearing finish.
